A party who helps buyers and sellers of real estate connect with each other is a California real estate. Salespersons that work under brokers are called real estate agents or realtors. An example of a brokerage would be Century 21 or ReMax. These brokerages employ the best real estate agents in the area who are assigned clients according to location and other applicable details. Real estate agents who work for brokerages are upheld to certain quality standards. The consumer working with a broker makes things easier because the real estate agent they are working with has been properly trained, licensed and trustworthy. When working with a brokerage it is very important to make sure the brokerage has the right licenses.
